Welcome to San Carlos Pack 153

Formed in 1989 and sponsored by the San Carlos Lion's Club, Cub Scout Pack 153 is part of the Redwood District of the Pacific Skyline Council, Boy Scouts of America. We do not subscribe to any political agenda and welcome boys from all ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds in first through fifth grades. Most of our members attend Arundel Elementary and St. Charles Schools, but we welcome other boys in the area who are interested in joining Cub Scouts.

We at Pack 153 understand you and family are busy and at times need to juggle around competing interests in the same household. We prioritize family members' interests in our outings and events. We encourage you to include any other family members/siblings to attend and participate whenever possible.

We are an organization that holds events each month of the year, but it would be unlikely that any one boy could attend all. We offer these events because we know that by having a variety of activities, each boy and family can select those that interests them. We look forward to continue putting together with you a fine Scouting program that your son will enjoy and learn from. Let's create some great memories!

Final 2018 Popcorn Sales

We are in the final stretch for our 2018 popcorn fundraiser. We have sold almost $10,000 in popcorn. Over 35% of which goes to support our pack activities. Kudos!

Halloween Adventure

Our Spooky Halloween Pack Meeting is Friday, October 26 from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Arundel Multi-Use Room.​ This is the one and only pack meeting where you should NOT wear your uniform. Wear your costume instead! There will be a costume prize contest and a pumpkin carving contest where 3 prizes will be awarded in the following categories: most creative, scariest, and funniest pumpkin.

SS Jeremiah O'Brien Overnight

Come and spend the night on the historic WWII ship SS Jeremiah O'Brien located on Fisherman's Wharf. The SS Jeremiah O'Brien is one of two remaining fully functional Liberty ships of the 2,710 built and launched during World War II. The O'Brien has the distinction of being the last unaltered Liberty ship and remains historically accurate.

The Blue and Gold is where we celebrate Scouting's "birthday." We have a sit-down dinner and some special presentations. The highlight of the evening is our Webelos II scouts bridging out of Cub Scouts and into Boy Scouts. We hope everyone will joins us for this special celebration!
