Thank you for your interest in Cub Scout Pack 153. We are excited for your kids to join our adventure! The program is open to girls and boys in K through 5th grade.
Formed in 1989 and sponsored by the Mid-Peninsula Aloha Lion's Club, Cub Scout Pack 153 is part of the Redwood District of the Pacific Skyline Council, Scouting America. We do not subscribe to any political agenda and welcome boys and girls from all ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds. Most of our members attend Arundel Elementary and St. Charles Schools, but we welcome other kids in the area who are interested in joining.
Cub Scouting is focused on building a moral compass, developing an awareness of the needs of people in our extended community, team building, playing fun games together and learning about and appreciating nature.
During the school year, Scouts participate in two weekday meetings each month: a grade-level den meeting and a pack meeting that includes all ages. Pack meetings are usually held the 4th Tuesday of the month. Den meetings are at leaders' homes or local parks. Additionally, there are one or two optional weekend activities, ranging from service projects like beach cleanups to fun activities such as pinewood derby or overnight camping adventures. Scouts can join as many activities as they like. Family members and sibling are welcome to attend.
